Return & Refund Policy
All custom PC systems sold by AJ Builds are made-to-order products built specifically to each customer’s selected specifications. Due to the customized nature of these systems, high-value component sourcing, market-dependent pricing, and the professional labor involved in assembly and testing, all custom PC orders are subject to strict refund and return limitations.
Refund Eligibility Prior to Build Start
Customers may request to cancel their order and receive a partial refund only if the build process has not yet begun. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ajbuilds.shop@gmail.com and must include the order number and customer details.
For the purposes of this policy, the build process is deemed to have begun once any of the following has occurred: component procurement or allocation, inventory reservation, supplier ordering, build scheduling, configuration preparation, assembly preparation, or labor assignment.
If a cancellation request is approved prior to the start of the build process, the order will be subject to a mandatory, non-refundable cancellation fee equal to twenty percent (20%) of the total order value. This fee is retained to cover administrative handling, payment processing fees, sourcing efforts, project planning, and other non-recoverable business costs.
Any remaining eligible balance will be refunded to the original payment method after cancellation processing has been completed.
Refund Review and Determination Timeline
All cancellation and refund requests are subject to internal order status verification. Customers will be notified of the approval or denial of their refund request in no less than fourteen (14) business days from the date the written request is received.
If a refund is approved, financial institutions and payment processors may require additional time to reflect the refund in the customer’s account. AJ Builds is not responsible for processing delays outside of its control.
No Returns or Refunds After Build Start or Completion
Once the build process has commenced, the order becomes non-refundable and non-returnable.
Once a custom PC system has been fully assembled, configured, stress-tested, quality-checked, and marked as complete, the order is considered fulfilled and final. Custom-built systems cannot be restocked, repurposed, or resold as new inventory.
Refunds or returns will not be granted for reasons including, but not limited to, change of mind, financing issues, delayed customer communication, shipping coordination difficulties, refusal of delivery, or payment disputes initiated after the build process has begun or the system has been completed.
Damage Claims and Reporting Requirements
Customers are required to inspect their system immediately upon delivery. Any claims relating to shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported in writing to ajbuilds.shop@gmail.com within twenty-four (24) hours of confirmed delivery.
Failure to report such issues within the stated timeframe may limit or void eligibility for support, repair assistance, or shipping carrier claim facilitation.
Unauthorized Returns
No custom PC system or component may be returned without prior written authorization from AJ Builds. Unauthorized returns may be refused delivery, returned to sender at the customer’s expense, or subject to additional handling fees.
Customer Acknowledgment and Agreement
By placing an order with AJ Builds, the customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that custom PC systems are made-to-order products, refund eligibility is strictly limited to cancellation requests submitted prior to the start of the build process and is subject to a mandatory twenty percent (20%) cancellation fee, and that once the build process has begun or the system has been completed, the order becomes final, non-returnable, and non-refundable.
